The 72-Hour Inspection Window
When you purchase an item on ListMint, your payment is held securely in cashless escrow. The seller does not receive their payout immediately upon delivery.
Instead, buyers receive a 72-hour inspection window starting from the carrier delivery timestamp (or local meetup completion). This gives you adequate time to unbox the item, verify its authenticity, test electronics, and ensure that condition matches the listing description.
Automatic Payout Release
If no dispute is filed within 72 hours, or once you submit a positive rating, the escrow hold is automatically released and the seller receives their payout.
Significantly Not As Described (SNAD) Protection
Even when a seller specifies "All Sales Final", ListMint's buyer guarantee protects you against misrepresentation. You are entitled to a full refund under any of the following circumstances:
Undisclosed Flaws & Damage
Tears, holes, heavy stains, cracks, or broken components that were not clearly pictured or disclosed in the description.
Counterfeits & Replicas
Any replica, knockoff, or inauthentic branded goods. Counterfeit items are strictly prohibited on ListMint.
Incorrect Item or Size
Receiving a completely different product, wrong brand, or wrong tagged size than specified.
Missing Vital Components
Missing accessories, power adapters, bundled items, or key parts advertised in the listing.
What is NOT covered: Buyer remorse (e.g. changing your mind, or item does not fit as expected despite accurate size tags/measurements) is not covered if the seller has a "No Returns / All Sales Final" policy.
How to Report an Issue / Request Return

Navigate to your Order page — Go to Payments & Orders and select the affected order within 72 hours of delivery.

Click "Report an Issue / Request Return" — Under the 72-Hour Inspection banner, open the issue dialog.

Select your reason and explain the flaw — Choose the appropriate discrepancy category and describe the defect in detail.

Escrow freeze & moderation review — Submitting immediately freezes seller payout. Our Trust & Safety team arbitrates the evidence within 24 to 48 hours.
Return Shipping & Refund Processing
When a return is approved by Trust & Safety or accepted by the seller:
- Pre-Paid Return Label: A trackable return shipping label is provided in your order dashboard.
- Shipment Window: Buyers have 5 business days to drop off the return with the carrier.
- Instant Refund Release: Once tracking confirms delivery back to the seller, the full purchase amount (including original shipping) is credited back to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
