Your profile is visible to other users when you list items, send messages, or interact on the platform. It includes:

• Display name — shown on your listings and in messages.
• Profile photo — helps build trust with buyers and sellers.
• Home state — determines your default feed and where your listings appear.
• Seller rating — your average rating and review history.

Your home state affects two things:

• Your feed — listings from sellers in your state appear by default.
• Your listings — items you post are tagged with your state, helping local buyers find them.

To change your state, go to your Profile settings and select a new state from the dropdown. The change takes effect immediately.

Email verification is required before you can create listings. This helps prevent spam and ensures we can reach you about your account.

• Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for the verification email.
• Click the verification link in the email to confirm your address.
• If you didn't receive it, resend the verification email from your Profile page.
• Verification is a one-time step — once done, you won't need to do it again.

Keep your account secure with these options:

• Reset your password — use the “Forgot password?” link on the login page to receive a password reset email.
• Use a strong password — choose a unique password you don't use on other sites.
• Google sign-in — for convenience, link your account with Google OAuth for faster, more secure login.

• Your active listings will be removed.
• Your account data will be deleted.
• Unused credits will be forfeited unless a refund is required by law.
